Revere Bank Supports Wiencek + Associates Architects + Planners’ CANstruction DC Team

Laurel, Md. (December 9, 2015) – Revere Bank was proud to contribute $250 to Wiencek + Associates Architects + Planners’ 2015 CANstruction DC Team.

CANstruction DC raises funds and collects canned goods for the Capital Area Food Bank – the largest organization in the D.C. metro area working to solve hunger, chronic undernutrition, heart disease and obesity.

The event, which took place Nov. 22-30, featured 24 teams from D.C. architecture and design firms. Each team constructed imaginative, transportation-themed sculptures from canned goods.

The Wiencek + Associates Architects + Planners team used 3,698 cans to assemble a replica of the train from The Little Engine That Could. The motto was, “I Think I Can, I Think I Can De-Rail Hunger!”

In total, $5,070 and 68,313 pounds of food were donated to the Capital Area Food Bank. For more information, visit
