Revere Bank was ranked one of the region’s fastest growing companies by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) on their annual list. Each year the WBJ honors 50 companies in the D.C.-area based on revenue growth from 2014-2016. Revere saw 50 percent growth during this time period.
Revere’s acquisitions of BlueRidge Bank and Monument Bank in 2016 significantly contributed to the recent growth. Revere now has more than $2 billion in assets and 11 branch locations throughout the I-270 and Washington-Baltimore corridors.
“We are honored to be recognized for our recent growth by the Washington Business Journal,” said Ken Cook, Revere co-president and CEO. “It’s been an exciting few years for the bank, and we’re thrilled to be celebrating our tenth anniversary this year.”
The WBJ awards celebration took place at The Ritz-Carlton in Tyson’s Corner on October 19. The event featured the reveal of the list rankings, a cocktail reception and dinner, and a presentation of awards to the ranking companies.
