Revere Bank Named One of the Region’s Fastest Growing Companies by the Washington Business Journal for the Second Year in a Row

For the second consecutive year, Revere Bank was ranked one of the region’s Fastest Growing Companies by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) on its annual list. This year, the WBJ honored 75 companies in the D.C.-area based on revenue growth from 2015-2017.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for our growth by the Washington Business Journal,” said Drew Flott, Revere co-president and CEO. “We are excited to continue the momentum by delivering exemplary customer service and creative solutions to help our customers be even more successful.”

Revere’s acquisitions of BlueRidge Bank and Monument Bank in 2016 significantly contributed to the bank’s recent growth. Revere now has more than $2 billion in assets and 11 branch locations throughout the I-270 and Washington-Baltimore corridors.

“Revere’s expansion across Maryland and into the D.C. metro area has allowed us to serve more business customers who are integral to our local economies,” said Ken Cook, Revere co-president and CEO. “We’re happy to have the opportunity to support local entrepreneurs and our communities.”

The WBJ awards celebration will take place at The Ritz-Carlton in Tyson’s Corner on November 1. The event will feature the reveal of the list rankings, a cocktail reception and dinner and a presentation of awards to the ranking companies.
