Revere Bank Employees Support Junior Achievement at Annual Bowl-A-Thon

Laurel, Md. (June 7, 2017) – Revere Bank employees have fundraising talents to SPARE! The Revere team’s talents were put to use raising money for Junior Achievement of Central Maryland at the nonprofit’s annual Bowl-A-Thon event on June 7 at Brunswick Lanes in Columbia, Md.

The Revere team raised $2,270 and took home the trophy for number one fundraising team. Their donations will be sponsoring two entire grade levels of Junior Achievement students.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the skills and knowledge they need to own their academic successes, plan for the future and make smart academic and economic decisions. Junior Achievement’s kindergarten through 12th-grade programs provide hands-on experiences in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy. These programs give more than 40,000 students in 12 Maryland counties the passion they need to thrive in the 21st-century work environment.
