Revere Bank Customer Up to Date Laundry Opens New Baltimore Facility

Revere Bank congratulates Up to Date Laundry on the opening of its new Baltimore facility. The 79,600-square foot facility, which was financed by Revere Bank, is estimated to bring 400 new jobs to Baltimore over the next five years.

The ribbon-cutting event took place December 4 at the facility located in East Baltimore. Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh and other local business leaders were in attendance.

Up to Date Laundry is a leader in the healthcare linen industry, servicing clients in more than 35 hospitals in the mid-Atlantic region, such as Johns Hopkins Health and the University of Maryland Medical, as well as hundreds of medical offices. The company, which was formed more than 70 years ago and has always been Baltimore-based, began by servicing ships from New York in the Baltimore Harbor. Today, it is one of the largest woman-owned businesses in Baltimore.
