Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame Announces Inductees for its Seventh Year

Grossberg Company LLP and Revere Bank are proud to announce the seventh annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame (MCBHOF). The event is set to take place Tuesday, October 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md.

The event recognizes outstanding Montgomery County business leaders who positively impact the local corporate environment and support ambitious students on their journey to excellence in higher education.

This year, the MCBHOF will recognize four individuals at their induction: Mark Bergel, Founder and Executive Director of A Wider Circle; Michelle Freeman, CEO of Carl M. Freeman Companies; Bruce Lee, President and CEO of Lee Development Group, LLC; and Jorge Restrepo, Founder & CEO of EurekaFacts LLC.

“We are proud to continue this tradition of success that supports local business leaders and students,” said Lawrence Rosenblum, partner at Grossberg Company. “Hundreds of students have benefitted from this event, and we are excited to be in the seventh year of honoring these outstanding individuals.”

The event proceeds will benefit the scholarship programs at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG), Maryland’s premier regional education center, which brings more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs from nine Maryland public universities directly to Montgomery County. Since its inception, MCBHOF has supported more than 500 students and raised more than $860,000 for the USG scholarship fund through donations and the MCBHOF event.

“Revere Bank is honored to partner with Grossberg Company to support these outstanding inductees and this Montgomery County awards tradition. This year’s honorees have made significant contributions to the Montgomery County business community, and we are thrilled to recognize their efforts,” said Ken Cook, co-president and CEO of Revere Bank. “The event is also a great opportunity to support local students’ education with scholarships that will change their lives.”
