Revere Bank Cleans Up Hiker/Biker Path in Laurel’s Riverfront Park

In ongoing efforts to serve the community, Revere Bank sponsored a clean up in Laurel’s Riverfront Park on Saturday, June 28, 2008. More than twenty Revere Bank employees, family and friends worked to beautify a section of the paved path located between B Street and Avondale Street in historic downtown Laurel.

The group worked all morning to clear the overgrown path--cutting down vines, raking leaves, mowing grass and picking up trash. The result is a welcoming pathway to be used by walkers, runners, hikers and bikers of all ages.

“I use the Riverfront Park path regularly for exercise and relaxation. The B Street end of the path was in need of a facelift to make it more open and welcoming. We are excited to contribute our time and efforts to benefit our community, and hope our neighbors enjoy the entire path, including the newly-cleared B Street end,” said Andrew Flott, President and CEO, Revere Bank.
