Elected officials and business leaders in attendance included: Mayor Craig A. Moe, City of Laurel; Sarah Bloom Raskin, Commissioner of Financial Regulation, State of Maryland; Richard Storey, CEO, Howard County Economic Development Authority; and H. Mayor Moe had the honor of cutting a ribbon decorated with $50 bills. All money was donated by Revere Bank to Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services, Inc. (LARS), a non profit organization that provides emergency services to people in crisis. "We are pleased to support such a worthwhile organization right here in our community," said Andrew Flott, President and CEO, Revere Bank. LARS Executive Director Nancy Graham accepted the donation on behalf of LARS (www.laureladvocacy.org).
